My intent being a teacher is to create in my students a deep perception along with self-assurance at exams and being capable to deal with new problems. My viewpoint is actually based on the concept that learning happens in an atmosphere of reciprocal recognition wherein the person is encouraged to think and establish new connections for themselves. According to my experience individual tuition has a distinct importance to scholars through the ability to resolve the students' personal restraints to learning in a way which lays the roots for a deep and long-term perception of the subject.
Analytic thinking
My approach varies depending on the child's needs and learning style. My teaching philosophy is based on stimulating scholars to think for themselves, using existing models wherever possible. |In my opinion it is vital to provide learners with a working knowledge and to teach them analytical abilities for improving upon this knowledge. Tutoring a person to think critically is at the fundamental of things that a child should withdraw off any subject program.
The most important contribution
Coaching learners is among the most lasting contributions a coach can do, and it is a process, that I find pleasurable and rewarding. From my practice, I discovered the effect of engaging scholars by using patterns and of pitching data at a level that implies intelligence but not always knowledge, blending the known with the unknown within a solution which brings the student the disposition of possibility rather than that of impossibility that official and impressive approaches may lay down.
How I teach
I start from questions the students are good with and step increasingly towards more complicated fields as their peace of mind is being raised. I put to use examples and questions to make sure understanding continually. I will not lecture to learners or tell them to remember things. Neither do I carry out the scholars' investigation for them!
I normally prioritise exam-style or previous paper questions in order to test, practice and perfect the student's accepting and practice. I even give a lot of accent to many of the not so much vital but obvious skill sets such as essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the powerful use of graphs and numbers.
